Join us for a musical weekend at the PaSO Music Academy on May 11th and 12th where the VIRTUOSO program will showcase the talents of their students performing Vivaldi's 4 Seasons and piano hits. This event is suitable for young audiences of all ages.
Antonio Vivaldi's "Seasons of the Year" is considered one of the greatest hits of all time and features four short concertos for solo violin and string orchestra that illustrate the changing seasons. The violin part is a showpiece that imitates various sounds of nature, as well as portrays genre scenes such as a country party and ice skating. This delightful performance is great fun for both performers and listeners of all ages. Additionally, the music will be accompanied by a colorful film created specifically for Vivaldi's score.
The second half of the concert will feature the talented pianists of the PaSO Academy of Music who have won many competitions and are scholarship recipients of the VIRTUOSO program. This is an added attraction that is not to be missed.
